Next month see’s the Uptonogood? Mountain Bike Festival ride again on Saturday 21st June from the village of Upton. The event is family orientated, with the intention of introducing kids to the delights of cycling in our local countryside. Below is feedback from one family last year:
Hi Bob, Mike, and team,
I came to Uptonogood last weekend for the first time following a recommendation from a friend.
It was absolutely brilliant! Thank you both and your amazing team of volunteers for putting on such an incredible day. My son (9) and I did the family ride in the morning and then we were joined by my wife and two daughters (5 and 7) in the afternoon for the little wheels.
All of us absolutely loved it. The kids especially came away buzzing from the day, eager to get back on their bikes and looking forward to next year already. Throughout the day the organisation and the volunteers were all so good. Can’t fault it. The atmosphere was excellent. I can only imagine what a huge effort it must be to put on a day like that…. but I am so grateful that you did.
I hope you got to enjoy it as well and that you managed to sneak in a beer or two as well.
