Headteacher’s Welcome

At St John’s we pride ourselves on providing a broad and creative curriculum for our children.  We aim to provide a wide range of learning experiences, based around the six themes of our vision: critical thinking and problem solving, physical and mental well-being, local and global citizenship, communication and social skills, creativity and innovation and key academic skills.  Our curriculum is enriched through a range of outdoor learning, sport, art and drama activities, after school clubs, themed weeks, trips and visits.

Through a focus on positive values, we nurture each individual to become the best they can be and help them to become successful life-long learners.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school.

“The curriculum is a strength of the school. It is designed to give pupils new and exciting opportunities. Parents say the range of activities on offer sparks their children’s enthusiasm and makes them curious about learning. ” Ofsted, March 2018

“Personal development is strong.” Ofsted, March 2018

‘St John’s is a fantastic school and we feel very lucky to have it on our doorstep. Staff should be proud of what they continue to achieve.” Parent Survey, February 2018
