The school uses ‘The Code of Practice’ for identifying and monitoring all children with special educational needs and disabilities.  Teachers prepare individual education plans for children with special needs and these may include extra teaching – either from a learning support assistant or the Special Needs Coordinator.  Parents/carers are encouraged to support initiatives adopted by teachers, and regular meetings with teachers help to promote the best progress for each child.
