Outdoor Woodland Learning Sessions (OWLS)

We are lucky to have a dedicated woodland area, adjacent to our school field, that we use for outdoor learning. Children in all year groups have the opportunity to explore this natural environment: learning about its flora and fauna; enjoying developing natural arts, crafts and skills, and participating in imaginative and sensory learning activities.

For OWLS sessions, children need:

• long sleeved trousers and tops
• wellies or waterproof shoes
• warm waterproof coat and hat in winter months
• sunhat and pre-applied sun-cream in summer months
