Today in Year 3 we launched our Chocolate topic with a tasting sessions, designed to tingle, tantalize (and on occasion torment!) our taste buds. We graded each of the different chocolates according to their appearance, smell, texture and taste. We spent time discussing and comparing our favourites and were also brave in trying lots of new things. Many of us discovered a passion for aerated (bubbly) chocolate and somewhat of a disdain for dark chocolate. It goes without saying that mint chocolate divided the room… We will used our newfound knowledge later on this term when we begin to design and create our own chocolate products.
