On Thursday, Year 3 and 4 marched down to Castle Gardens to conduct a series of fieldwork activities. We were charged with finding out just what is living in this area, and how human and physical aspects of geography currently interact with one another. We did this to inform and deter any future developers (having already seen just how much Wallingford has grown over the years!).
We used quadrants to survey the vegetation, made field sketches of different places within the gardens, and gathered data about the different human and physical features present. We will now interpret and analyse our information, and conclude our findings next week.
