Wallingford Cycling Festival

Wallingford Festival of Cycling is returning for the fifth year and we are thrilled to announce our action-packed weekend programme from 12 – 14 July 2019. The festival is a celebration of the inclusive world of cycling with a vision for getting more people on their bikes more often.

Lots of thought and time has gone into creating interesting routes for all the community rides on Sunday 13th – with, we hope, a distance for everyone:

5 mile or13 mile

27  or 37 mile

75 or 100 mile

And for the first time this year we are offering couch to saddle training rides to help people feel able to take on a ride for the first time or even to try a longer distance.

There are still 2 training rides before the Festival on 19th May and 23rd June.

Just let us know you’re coming along by emailing hendriette.knouwds@southandvale.gov.uk ,

To sign up to one of the community rides https://www.wallingfordfestivalofcycling.co.uk/take-part/fun-rides-and-sportives/

As well as the community rides, there will be town cycle racing, and the Kinecroft will be host to some very exciting cycling activities as well as

Pump Track

Dual Track Racing

Dirt Factory Air bag for Stunt bikes

as well as lots of other low carbon activities and refreshments!

So sign up for one of the rides and put the 12-14th July in the diary!
