SEN – Special Educational Needs

The school uses ‘The Code of Practice’, for identifying and monitoring all children with special educational needs.  Teachers prepare individual education plans for children with special needs and these may include extra teaching – either from a learning support assistant or the Special Needs Coordinator.  Parents are encouraged to support initiatives adopted by teachers, and regular meetings with teachers help to promote the best progress for each child.

Our current SENCo is Mrs Rebecca Jones. She can be contacted via the main school office number on a Wednesday or a Thursday.
